More Time head honcho SNØW and Trinidad & Tobago producer and percussion king Keshav bring their collaborative project Jus Now to the label for the first time, with three bangers dropping just in time for carnival season.

Lead single “Awesome Bad” features the current International Soca Monarch champion Swappi. The track was recored in Trinidad in March, not long after Swappi’s big Carnival victory. Swappi brings a much more laid back and relaxed delivery than he is usually known for over Jus Now’s driving, GQOM influenced Soca Riddim. The track was laced in a quick 2 hour session and has been doing serious damage in More Time sets across their festival takeovers at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Kallida & more.

“Winner Walk” is a collaboration with T&T Dance collective X-Originals. Again recorded in March this year, this one is a riddim strictly for the dancers. “Xander from XO came to us with a concept in his head of lyrics to fit with some choreography he had already designed. We built the beat around his lyrics and dance ideas. They are currently out in T&T working on the visual so we are very excited to see what it looks like on film.”

Bonus track “Panorama” is a dubplate that Jus Now have been playing since last summer. Originally it was made as a tool for their explosive live show. Its live steel pan (played by Trinidadian Jazz musician Derron Ellis) and live horns (played by Trini Brass kings Uppercut Brass) interpolates the Trini jazz classic “The Path” by Ralph Mcdonald, a sample more commonly known for its use in Ibiza Anthem “Finder” by Ninetoes. Due to a barrage of DM’s requesting the track, Jus Now decided to clear the sample and let it off to the public.
